We collect and process personal data only on the basis of the statutory provisions (General Data Protection Regulation, Telecommunications Act 2003 — TKG). The processing of personal data — such as the name, address, email address or phone number of a data subject — shall always be in line with the GDPR and in accordance with the country-specific data protection regulations applicable to Qraken Quantum FlexCo.

Automatic Data Retention & Server Logs
Every time you visit our website, certain information is automatically created and stored by our web server. This data is collected in so-called server log files and may include:
- The full address (URL) of the accessed page

- Operating system used
- Referrer URL (the previously visited page)
- Host name and IP address of the accessing device
- Date and time of access
This data is technically necessary and constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log files are generally stored for up to two weeks and are then automatically deleted. This data is not passed on to third parties; however, we cannot exclude the possibility that it may be inspected by the relevant authorities in the case of unlawful conduct.

Contact, Enquiry & Newsletter Data
If you contact us — whether via our contact form on the website or by email — the data you transmit to us (name, email address, subject and message) will be stored for the purpose of processing your enquiry and for follow-up questions. Your data will not be passed on to third parties without your consent.
If you apply for a position via our careers page, the data you submit (name, contact details, cover letter, CV) will be processed exclusively for the purpose of evaluating your application and communicating with you regarding the hiring process.
If you subscribe to our newsletter — either via the footer signup or by ticking the opt-in box on the contact form — your email address will be stored and used exclusively for sending you occasional updates about our company, products and research. Your consent is the legal basis for this processing (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent and unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email or by emailing us directly. Newsletter subscriber data is deleted immediately upon unsubscription.
Important
If you send us personal data via email outside of our website's secure forms, we cannot guarantee safe transmission. We therefore recommend that you never send confidential information by unencrypted email.

Cookies
Our website does not use tracking cookies, third-party analytics or advertising cookies. Any cookies that may be set are strictly necessary for the technical operation of the site (e.g. maintaining your session) and are therefore covered by the exemption in § 96 (3) TKG / ePrivacy Directive — they do not require separate consent.

TLS Encryption (HTTPS)
This website uses HTTPS to transfer data securely over the internet. The entire transmission of data from your browser to our web server is encrypted — no third party can intercept it in transit.

Storage of Personal Data
Any personal data you electronically submit to us on this website — such as your name, email address, or other personal information provided via a form — is used solely for the specified purpose and stored securely together with the respective submission time and IP address. This data is not passed on to third parties.
We use personal data exclusively for communication with users who have explicitly requested contact, and for the evaluation of job applications. We do not share your personal data without your approval, though we cannot exclude the possibility of inspection by the relevant authorities in the case of illegal conduct.

Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law.
- Contact form inquiries are typically deleted within 12 months
- Job application data is retained for the duration of the hiring process and up to 6 months thereafter, unless you consent to longer retention
- Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe and deleted immediately thereafter
- Server log files are stored for up to 2 weeks
